Aww ya Heather so great to hear from you and so glad this resonated!

I'm inspired by how long you've made it while on the road :)

As I read your "It's okay" statements, I felt my body relax more deeply.

Do you have monkeys in your area? Besides snakes, another thing to be conscious of is hiking where there are monkeys. Some can be quite aggressive.

I could relate to your observation about the tiny pepper. One time, I was eating this stir-fried spinach dish in a restaurant in Thailand. My mom made a similar dish, and I was really enjoying it. Little did I know that this version had green chili peppers that blended in with the spinach. My mouth was on fire, and my lips were so puffy!

I'm enjoying your letters, Jen. I also love seeing your name in Thai.

Nat I am so glad you could relax more from my writings. Helpful feedback

I haven't seen monkeys yet but I know they're around Thailand so I am sure to expect them soon enough... sadly..

Those tiny peppers surely can get to us, surprisingly, the green chili peepers are just as hot as the red ones! I found that hard the hard way with first hand experience.

I still don't know how to write or read any Thai, but I also like seeing my name in Thai too :)

More letters to come in the future!

Reading and writing Thai can be challenging. To this day I still don’t remember the names of each of the alphabet letters. I can read, but I’m a slow reader.
