Jen, this was a great read! +1 to moving away from diagnosing situations/emotions as good or bad. Also - I would love to learn how to sail from you sometime π
Aww thank you Shiv. It's definitely not easy growing up getting schooled and in church and quickly assessing everything as either good or bad. If you are even in Hawaii, it'd be such a hoot to learn again beside you :)
I loved reading your reflection Jen and appreciate your openness! Your mindset about not dividing things as "good or bad" is something I strive for myself. Which I always find easier to remember in the "good" moments, but also easier to appreciate the complexities of life looking back. Also, big fan of the gallery photos!!
I'm glad it resonated Michelle :) To delay my immediate judgement publicly is definitely challenging. I fear it is less interesting to *not* share a judgement though. That is after all what makes an observation interesting is my take on it. So if I want to keep this up it will be a lot more swimming in nuance and explaining more of those complexities.
thank you for sharing with my about the gallery photos feature with me!
Canβt wait to have you in KL!! Hereβs to learning lots in 2023 π
Hey mobes! I cannot wait! So much learning to come :-)
