Hi Jen,

Sorry! I was taking a little Substack break. I mean a lot of them!

I'm trying to get better and not minding other people's opinions of me, get better at asking for things and shooting shots, and then building up my acceptance of self so that I feel more ready to receive love.

One of the themes that I picked up from this piece is the value of living life. I know it sounds dumb, but I think I've been so excited to be on a writing journey that I've forgotten that I should live AND write, not write to live. The best way to write interesting stuff (fiction/non-fiction) is to live an interesting life. I think you are doing just fine at that :)

And numbers 4 & 7 are very much aspirations for me to continue to remember and strive for -- you're not alone my friend!

And aww thank you for saying that Camilo! I've been reflecting on what "a life well lived is" and the crux is love, and when I can pour more love, life starts to vibrate with ripples. Sometimes I have so many experiences that I get overwhelmed with which one to write about, which seems like such a silly non-problem. Sending some sunshine your way ☀️ Jen

So many gems here, Jen!!! Love them all, but also, I really love this line: "Be without shame for a snail speed because you are at least doing the thing."

I appreciate you Sandra!

And yes I snuck that line in after it crystallized for me. I'm so glad you like it just as much as me :-)
