👯♀️ Surrender To Sisterhood
Dear Steph, my sweet sister, my Peanut, Around you, judgment fades away, Unveiling a season of surrender To the essence of who we truly are. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am. Together on the beach We watch the mischievous crabs crawl. Their frantic scurry makes us lose speech. With you, laughter spills like waves without control and even pee down my pants. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am. We are mere specs of sand in the cosmos And I’m lucky to know your spec in my universe. For the rest of my life Your cheer buoys me through all strife You know me deeply, like no other. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am. From Hercules to Tarzan's tunes, we reminisce, Mixing laughter and tears, each memory is bliss Helping us rise above our fears. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am. My eyes water like euphoric blossoms Filled with sunlight to the brim With presence as if we’ve gone for a brisk swim. You sprinkle color to my life, blush on my cheeks, Together sweating under the Hawaii sun, Our freckles make us unique. I get to be goofy and talk in accents for fun. You are such a dear loved one. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am. Through growing pains and shared pursuits, Our paths are unconventional, yet resolute. In sisterhood, we've maturely grown, Never wanting to get off the phone. You are spunky and cool. For anyone to miss this, they’d be a fool. Thank you dear sister for all that you are In highs and lows, you are my guiding star. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am. Steph, Around you, judgment fades away, Unveiling a season of surrender To the essence of who we truly are. Thank you, sister, for loving me as I am.

Sleep Deprivation by Chance Peña
Sleep deprivation's got me at my heels
This year taught me how it feels to be
Lost and ambitious
I've been on a mission
I won't stop till I'm done
I toss and turn almost every night
I pray to God I'm doing right
By all my family's wishes
Lord knows I miss them
Their love outshines the sun
So when I break down I list off the reasons
I'm here and I'm still breathing oh
I'm hanging on
Try to break ground, make way for tomorrow
I'll find a way through the sorrow ah
One day at a time
I see the world outside my door
Constant reminder there's so much more
Than what I'm seeing
That thought is freeing
🔍Word to define
