Perhaps because I have not followed all along—are you staying in Netherlands for a prolonged period now? More permanently? I ask because it is my second home when I am overseas—hard to explain but as an ex military spouse I spent a good portion of my life there on my own during deployments and have developed my own surrogate Dutch family.
My ‘daughter’ is of the Vermeer lineage. I lived across the street from her in Rotterdam when she was growing up and my house became her exploratory into what ‘America’ was all about. As a result to the exposure to our house’s creativity, she became a photographer. She also went into marketing, and is now in packaging—all mirrors to my own career.
All this to say, she is a fantastic person to know and if you do wish a little extra for making connections or creative thinking, I would be happy to connect you.
